The 2012 West Virginia Leadership Summit is a celebration that brings together 10 years of the West Virginia Roundtable holding its highly successful leadership conferences with 5 years of Generation West Virginia's highly successful young leaders conference. Together, the Roundtable and Generation WV are presenting the “Summit” on leadership, dealing with developing and refining leadership skills to enable established and young leaders to take us into the future.

This year’s Summit features William Taylor, cofounder and founding editor of Fast Company magazine, coauthor of the 2006 book, Mavericks at Work, and author of the 2011 book, Practically Radical.

This year’s Summit will begin with an evening reception event held at Morgantown’s Waterfront Place Hotel on April 18th and a full day conference on the 19th.

As with prior conferences, current and future West Virginia business, government and educational leaders will gather to focus on leadership obstacles, opportunities and skill development. This year’s Summit offers you the chance to:

  • Hear and discuss traits that make a good leader great
  • Learn how to build and manage the best possible team
  • Discuss how to lead through difficult times
Panels comprised of several West Virginia business, education, non-profit and political leaders will discuss leadership roles as we bridge the gap between the established and young generations.

Attendance is expected to include business leaders, senior leaders from the West Virginia Roundtable, other business leaders, members of Generation West Virginia and student leaders from the state’s colleges and universities.

The cost is $325 for single attendees and $150 for students and members of Generation West Virginia.

Seating is limited so register today.
