Job Description:

The Director, Regional Operations & Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful operation of LG NOVA WV branch office in Huntington, reporting directly to the LG NOVA New Business Supporting Team in LG NOVA Santa Clara office. This dynamic role will be responsible for managing and fostering business development efforts in West Virginia, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, and creating opportunities for our newly created businesses to thrive in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in operational excellence, community engagement, and a deep understanding of the local culture and business landscape.

Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the local branch office, including facilities management, IT infrastructure, and procurement.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations related to business operations, safety, and employment practices.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and staffing levels to achieve operational efficiency and financial targets.

Business Development:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy for the region, aligned with LG NOVA and its new business’ overall growth objectives.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers in the region.
  • Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings.

Community Engagement:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local community organizations, university, and business leaders.
  • Participating in community events, initiatives, and charitable activities to enhance reputation for LG NOVA.

Requirement / Skill

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience (required)
  • At least 10 years’ experience in relationship and/or business development for corporate or government clients (required)
  • At least 10 years of familiarity with and experience in new technology trends (AI, ML, etc.) (required)
  • Previous experience in a Business Development Director role (Preferred)
  • A self-starter with the experience in leading or operating businesses in the area of healthcare IT or energy (Preferred)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, including senior executives, clients, partners, and employees from various departments and backgrounds.
  • Excellent listener, with the ability to understand and respond to feedback and concerns.
