As a frontend engineer you’ll be the reason candidates don’t rage-quit mid-application. Build interfaces that are so intuitive, users forget they’re interacting with enterprise software. We need someone who obsesses over load times, accessibility, and the subtle art of making forms not terrible. You’ll ship fast, break things occasionally, and fix them before anyone notices. Previous experience making HR software feel like not HR software is a plus. Warning: you may develop strong opinions about button border radius.

Responsibilities

• Work across application, component library, and client-side API codebases
• Work with other engineers to build new features and products
• Design and implement experiments to improve our customer’s experiences
• Work to best understand the needs of our customers
• Tune and polish features to a high-degree of excellence

Requirements

• Experience designing, developing, and testing client-side code
• Experience with modern web tooling and frameworks (TypeScript, React, Vite)
• Ability to evaluate technical directions and determine tradeoffs of each
• Familiarity with software engineering development cycles
• Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability and ongoing metrics
• Uphold engineering standards

Bonus points

• Basic experience with design tools.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing websites or applications end-to-end.
• Strong writing and commutation skills.
