Mason & Barry


Position Purpose:

Assist outside sales team members in the sales of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.  Help with bidding take-off, price quotations, ordering of equipment, technical information, and expediting orders.  Strong emphasis on customer service and timeliness response.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage collective accounts.
  • Provide a high level of customer service in a timely effective manner.
  • Develop a technical knowledge and understanding of Mason & Barry, Inc. products.
  • Utilize industrial databases to research, find, and update upcoming projects.
  • Act as a first responder for customer questions regard products and services
  • Assist in bidding take-offs, pricing, and quotations.
  • Develop submittal data for projects for engineer approval.
  • Continually stay updated on any manufacturers price increases and share with other divisional employees.
  • Mange order entry process and coordinate deliveries with the costumer
  • Develop installation, operation, maintenance manuals to provide customers for close out documentation.
  • Coordinate scheduling equipment start-up and warranty-related issues
  • Work closely with manufacturers to resolve issues that arise.
  • Have a working knowledge of WORD & EXCEL along with basic computer skills.
  • Ability to speak and build relationships with customers.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but NOT required.
  • 2 or more years’ experience in the HVAC industry preferred but NOT required.
  • High developed interpersonal and analytical skills

Work Conditions:

  • Normal office environment
  • Moderate lifting may be required to move equipment, files, and supplies.
  • Minimal travel may be required at times (training)

Reports to: Divisional Director
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
