Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic maintenance knowledge and reliable transportation. This position involves performing a variety of tasks related to property upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
- Ensure the proper functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in good working condition.
- Assist in the coordination of larger maintenance projects as directed by the property manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Previous experience in property maintenance is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as needed.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
