tough out of tech,” as we say at Tech Express. High Rocks is seeking a Program Manager our Tech
Express program, located in Lewisburg, WV. Tech Express is a social enterprise aimed at addressing
the computer diagnostic and repair needs of southern West Virginia while providing essential
personal and professional development for AmeriCorps members and youth participants serving and
working within the program.

The Program Manager works directly with young people in an on-the-job, earning-and-learning
training program, designs and delivers community workshops, and leads customer support, coaching,
and repair work. Together with the team of tech trainees, Tech Express offers tech support and
computer repair, e-waste upcycling and recycling, and community workshops in tech and digital
literacy – all with our young people as business partners along the way. The position will drive the
growth of our Tech Express program by leading the technology training program and on-the-job
training by doing customer work with our young technicians, who range from high school students to
college graduates. Our goal is to build a thriving pilot program for IT, Computer Science, and
Cybersecurity career pathways in West Virginia and a resource for community digital literacy and
support.

that we can provide our programs free-of-charge to young people in West Virginia.

Salary: $40,000 – $59,000, commensurate with education and experience. If your qualifications fall

apply. This is a full-time, at-will position with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package,

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is strongly recommended.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Technology skills and IT confidence.
• Mentoring experience.
• Time, project, and personnel management skills.
• Some travel is required.
• A background check is required since we work with vulnerable populations and Workforce
  WV. Must be able to pass a drug screening.
