Position Overview
The Director of Organization and Workforce Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the
organizational structure and fostering a supportive, growth-oriented environment for employees.
This role is responsible for designing and maintaining effective organizational systems, driving
workforce development strategies, and ensuring the company is equipped to meet its current
and future goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding
of organizational behavior, and expertise in employee development and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Organizational Development

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve organizational structures, policies, and workflows
    to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
  • Lead initiatives to create a cohesive and well-aligned organization, ensuring teams work
    together effectively toward strategic goals.
  • Analyze organizational needs and recommend adjustments to meet changing business
    demands.
  • Oversee change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth or
    restructuring.

Workforce Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive workforce development strategies to attract, retain, and
    develop talent.
  • Implement training programs and resources to enhance employees' skills and career
    advancement opportunities.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify and address skill gaps and workforce planning
    needs.
  • Establish mentorship and coaching programs to support employees' professional growth.
  • Provide resources and support to help employees overcome barriers to performance or
    development.

Employee Engagement and Support

  • Foster an inclusive, positive work culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
  • Conduct regular assessments of employee satisfaction and engagement, implementing
    improvements based on feedback.
  • Act as a resource for conflict resolution, ensuring workplace harmony and productivity.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure equitable and consistent employee practices.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

  • Establish metrics to assess organizational health, employee development outcomes, and overall
    performance.
  • Regularly report findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine development programs and organizational strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development,
    or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in organizational development, workforce development, or a related
    leadership role.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing organizational systems and workforce
    strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across all levels of the
    organization.
  • Knowledge of best practices in workforce development, training methodologies, and employee
    engagement strategies.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have person values and spiritual qualities that are good examples to those we work with and
    partners we serve alongside of.

Starting Salary 48k – 55k depending on starting experience and capacity
Eight paid holidays Eight days of personal time off with policies to add more.
Hours 8-4:30 M-F, some travel some weekends.
