Generation West Virginia (GWV) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members, Candace Nelson and Brian Dayton, who will each help support the nonprofit’s mission to attract, retain, and advance young people in West Virginia.
On March 17, 2022, Generation West Virginia was awarded $523,253 through the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC)’s High Impact POWER Impact project.
More than 12,500 West Virginia households in Logan and Mingo counties will soon have access to broadband, thanks to a grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), an agency of the US Department of Commerce.
The coalition will compete for up to $100 million to supercharge West Virginia’s economy.
