At Generation WV, Jen develops and executes marketing strategies that amplify the organization’s reach and impact. She works closely with program directors to align communications across programs and ensures consistent messaging and branding organization-wide.
Jen Iskow joined Generation WV in June 2024 as the Marketing and Communications Manager, bringing over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector within Appalachia. A skilled designer and communications consultant, Jen has built a successful career offering a range of marketing services, including brand management, design, consulting, and publishing.
Jen is passionate about sharing inspiring success stories from Generation WV’s programs and highlighting the unique opportunities that make the Mountain State extraordinary.
Jen earned her degree in Design & Merchandising from West Virginia University in 2014 and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Integrated Marketing and Communications at WVU. Her passion for creative storytelling was sparked at the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, WV, where she served as Marketing Coordinator. She went on to serve as a Strategic Planning VISTA at Appalshop in Whitesburg, KY, and has led marketing initiatives for organizations like Creature Gallery, ArtSpring, and the Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area.
Jen lives in Thomas, WV with her husband, toddler, and their fluffy dog, Marcel.
