I’m interested in: As someone who is interested in art, storytelling, and community building, I enjoy exploring how these elements can be incorporated into software development to facilitate meaningful communication within rural communities. I loved applying this concept to a garden bed management app that I developed during my time at NewForce, which allows users to build dynamic garden beds, utilize daily care checklists, and submit harvest reports at the end of their harvest season.
When coding, I most often find myself saying: “There’s so many ways I can do this!” There can be so many approaches to reaching a goal, and I love mapping a project to find the most effective solution.
Things I’m looking for in a job: I’m looking for a job that prioritizes professional development, leadership, and the opportunity to work with a team. I want to be able to support impactful work that will benefit my community.
