AWS Consultant

Required Skills:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of software development experience
• Minimum 2 years of hands on experience with AWS Cloud Serverless computing platform including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting issues with application developed and deployed on AWS cloud platform.
• Minimum 2 years of experience building modern progressive web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
• Minimum 2 years of hands on experience with server-side programming using NodeJS 
• Comfortable with version control, preferably Git
• Hands-on experience with envisioning, designing, building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, software, DevOps and networking.
• Professional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Understanding of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and Service Workers
• Basic understanding of webpack and babel
• Understand security authentication with JWT 
• Background in user experience and/or design
• Writing Unit Test Cases using JEST
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
• Desired experience with CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments
• Experience with development and automated testing
• Understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture
