About Netranom
Netranom is a growing IT managed services provider based in Hurricane, West Virginia. We serve small and mid-sized businesses with fully managed and co managed IT services, cybersecurity, voice, infrastructure, and business process automation.
Our clients are the companies that keep Appalachia moving—law firms, manufacturers, healthcare providers, energy companies, and more. We believe in practical solutions, strong execution, and long-term relationships.
Now we’re entering a new phase of growth. Our goal is to scale intentionally, with systems, structure, and leadership that can support a stronger, more resilient business.
That’s where you come in.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Chief Operating Officer who wakes up thinking about operational friction—and how to remove it. This role is built for someone who sees process not as paperwork, but as the backbone of scale.
We don’t need a strategist with slides—we need an operator who can build structure while things are moving. If you’ve ever said, “I just want the chance to build it right,” this is your shot. You’ll work directly with the CEO to operationalize strategy, tighten execution, and install a company-wide rhythm that delivers results.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Process & Systems Architecture
- Identify broken, missing, or manual workflows—and rebuild them from the ground up.
- Standardize processes across service delivery, project management, procurement, and internal ops.
- Build the operational backbone that scales: roles, handoffs, timelines, documentation.
Execution Discipline
- Lead the company’s operating cadence: weekly Level 10s, 90-day rocks, and team scorecards.
- Ensure the company executes consistently, across every department. No drift, no excuses.
- Build dashboards and performance visibility tools to catch issues early and measure what matters.
Continuous Improvement
- Install a culture of operational excellence—tight processes, clean handoffs, lean thinking.
- Remove bottlenecks, simplify complexity, and reduce rework.
- Lead structured post-mortems, process audits, and improvement initiatives.
People & Structure
- Help restructure teams for clarity and scale. Define lanes, roles, and escalation paths.
- Build a strong middle management layer capable of owning day-to-day execution.
- Hold department heads accountable to performance, outcomes, and timelines.
Strategic Implementation
- Translate high-level strategy into operational plans with clear ownership and deadlines.
- Drive key initiatives: platform upgrades, internal system rollouts, vendor transitions.
- Keep the whole organization aligned and moving in the same direction—fast.
What You Bring
Must-Haves
- 7–10+ years in a senior operations role at a growing services or tech-enabled business.
- Strong track record of designing and implementing processes that scale.
- Experience managing teams, improving accountability, and leading operational change.
- Familiarity with EOS or similar execution systems (Scaling Up, OKRs, etc.).
- Hands-on leadership style. You want to understand the work, not just manage around it.
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in IT services, MSPs, SaaS, or professional services.
- Familiarity with ConnectWise, Autotask, Business Central, or comparable operational platforms.
- Based in West Virginia—or willing to travel regularly.
Who You Are
- You believe in structure—but only the kind that drives execution.
- You’re not afraid to get in the weeds, but you don’t lose sight of the big picture.
- You see your role as building machines that work—people, process, and systems.
- You care more about results than credit.
- You want to build something great—and you want to do it the right way.
To Apply
Send your resume and a short note to hcokeley@netranom.com explaining what you’ve operationalized before—and what you’d do here. We’re not looking for a resume full of buzzwords. We’re looking for a builder.
