Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area
Located in Elkins, WV, the Communications and Marketing AmeriCorps Member will help with telling AFNHA’s story and increasing community engagement. This position is responsible for managing social media platforms, creating engaging digital content, capturing high-quality photography and videography at programs and events, and producing visual and written materials that highlight the organization’s impact. The member will assist with developing marketing campaigns, maintaining the organization’s brand identity, updating website content, supporting newsletters and promotional materials, and documenting volunteer and community activities.
Preference for candidates with experience in social media, marketing, copywriting, event planning, and photography and videography.
