Employee will be assigned to the Division of Water and Waste Management (DWWM), Permitting Section, NPDES permit team. Under limited supervision of a licensed professional engineer, this position performs professional engineering work in a wide variety of engineering services or creative works.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Current Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
AND
Experience: Seven (7) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in engineering, in which three (3) years must be as a licensed Professional Engineer.
Note: The experience must have been acquired after the bachelor’s degree but may have occurred before or after registration as a professional engineer.
Promotional Only:
Training: Current Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
AND
Experience: Five (5) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Engineer Series.
