Head of Operations (PADO, a startup supported by LG NOVA)
PADO AI Orchestration, Inc., a groundbreaking new venture backed by LG NOVA, is revolutionizing energy management for the modern data center. We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Operations to lead internal operations, oversee legal, HR and financial systems, build and manage platform capabilities, and serve as a force multiplier to the executive leadership team.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role for a systems-oriented, execution-driven operator. You’ll be responsible for running the internal machine that powers Pado—while ensuring the leadership team is aligned, resourced, and focused on executing the company’s long-term strategic vision.
Your scope will include company operations, finance, legal and compliance, HR, investor operations, platform development, and special projects. You’ll also convert strategic objectives into operational action, maintaining clarity and cadence across the leadership team, and supporting Pado’s expansion into multiple markets and geographies.
Responsibilities: Operations, Execution & Infrastructure
- Own and lead all day-to-day operations across the company:
- Workflow design, system implementation, and knowledge management.
- People operations: onboarding, recruiting, and HR infrastructure.
- IT, vendor management, cybersecurity, and operational risk oversight.
- Design and implement scalable, institutional-grade infrastructure.
- Translate company priorities into structured execution and maintain operational alignment through planning rhythms and communication systems.
- Oversee company’s finance, HR & Legal operations:
- Manage relationships with our 3rd party finance and accounting firm, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Budgeting, FP&A, internal controls, reporting and performance tracking
- Investor / Board Reporting
- Lead legal and compliance oversight:
- Manage contracts, legal workflows, and operational risk.
- Manage engagement with company’s PEO
- Build and evolve Pado’s operational platform:
- Create systems, tools, and playbooks to scale company execution
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives critical to Pado’s evolution:
- Drive internal programs to enhance company culture, governance, and execution.
- Serve as a thought partner to the executive leadership team, ensuring clarity and momentum across the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.

Salary: Salary based on experience in the range of $95-125K. PADO also offers performance-based annual bonus, company equity, 401K and healthcare benefits.
Location: This position will be on site at our Morgantown, West Virginia office.
