• Be familiar with WVDOH Change of Order Operations
• CPM Schedules Reviewer
• Prepare daily field reports
• Monitor the progress of construction projects and provide regular updates to project managers.
• Provide inspection for various roadways, construction, and renovation projects as well as monitoring road conditions, bridges, traffic, and materials.
• Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications
• Inspect the materials and installation methods in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
• Identify and report any deviations from plans or specifications to project managers.

• Must have certified, or the ability to obtain, WVDOT TRET Level certification.
• Possess the ability to lead a team and delegate duties.
• Have, or possess the ability to obtain, WVDOT Certifications such as, but not limited to, WVDOT Project Inspector, Soil Compaction, Asphalt Testing, Soils and Aggregate Inspection, Flexible Pavement, and Traffic Zone.
• ACI Concrete Field Inspector is highly desired.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working on large-scale highway construction projects is preferred.
• The ability to use construction-related software, such as Bluebeam and AASHTOWare (AWP), is highly desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
