launched as a venture spinout from LG Electronics’ North America Innovation Center. We’re

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Junior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in
West Virginia. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to develop their
skills while working on meaningful healthcare technology that improves patient outcomes.
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will collaborate with experienced developers to build
and maintain our remote patient management platform. The ideal candidate will be passionate
about creating high-quality code, eager to learn, and excited about making an impact in
healthcare. This position is a full-time hybrid position with onsite presence as per the
schedule proposed by the manager.

Your Impact:

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code for our healthcare platform
  • Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and functionality
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and learn best practices
  • Engage in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective sessions
  • Document code and development processes for future reference
  • Support testing and quality assurance activities
  • Actively pursue professional development and expand technical knowledge
  • Contribute to maintaining our technical documentation
  • Assist with implementing security best practices for healthcare data

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • Strong academic performance in programming, algorithms, data structures, and software
    engineering courses
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of database concepts, including SQL, is a plus
  • Proficiency in basic programming languages (Java, C++, Python, etc.)
  • Strong coding and debugging abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time management and prioritization capabilities
  • Documentation skills for code and processes
  • Basic understanding of software testing methodologies
  • GitHub portfolio or equivalent demonstrating coding abilities
  • An understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is
    preferred
  • Experience in working with cryptography libraries/cryptographic cipher suites for
    encryption/decryption of sensitive data is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in developing the full-stack for a project (front-end code, business
    logic, data communications) is a bonus

Work Environment & Travel:

The incumbent in this position will work in an office environment either remotely or onsite. Most
of the duties are performed on computers and digital tools. This position might require sitting for
extended periods of time. The working environment is typically dynamic, fast-paced, requiring
adaptability and strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. Expect to spend
time in meetings, workshops/conferences, and user testing sessions, as well as focused periods
of individual design work using digital tools.

Travel requirements – This job may require the incumbent to travel up to 15% of their time based
on the business needs.

Purpose of Travel – Domestic travel to customer sites, company offices, or to attend seminars,
events, trainings, workshops that the manager deems necessary for leveling up.

Location

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in West Virginia. Regular collaboration will be required
with team members across California, Chicago, New York, and West Virginia.
