Notice of Opening: Laboratory Analyst /Technician—Part Time

Optima Belle is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Laboratory Analyst/ Technician. After appropriate training, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Analyze a variety of samples including raw materials, in-process, and final products.
• Use various laboratory equipment including auto-titrators, GC, HPLC, balances, and benchtop wet chemistry methods etc.
• Document and interpret results of tests and generate reports for operations and customers.
• Strictly adhere to established standard operating procedures safely.
• Actively liaison with Optima Belle Lab Chemist/Coordinator for protocols and procedures as needed.

This job will require significant flex time due to production schedules but will be predominantly weekends and may occasionally include: holidays, weeknights, and some days.

Optima Belle is a custom chemical and contract manufacturer, servicing a variety of industries including: Pharmaceutical, Bioscience, Nutraceutical, Personal Care, and other users of specialty chemistries. This is a small progressive company that is experiencing strong growth.

The successful candidate will have completed or be enrolled in collegiate chemistry courses with labs and/or similar experience. Strong considerations will be given to students having shown strong capabilities in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and analytical chemistry.
