Job Description
The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be required to perform job related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position works directly under the Chief Marketing Officer and plays a key role in supporting the Airport’s marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives. The individual will serve as a secondary media spokesperson and collaborate regularly with members of the executive leadership team on internal and external messaging, public engagement, and strategic initiatives. In the absence of the CMO, this position may report directly to the Airport Director and will be expected to represent the Marketing Department in meetings, media interactions, and cross-departmental efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or a related field. Previous experience preferred. Further certification may be required.
Certifications, Licenses Required:
Upon Hire- West Virginia State Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; be able to talk and hear; reach with hands and arms; and, and lift, stoop and kneel.

Other Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment drug testing and submit to periodic testing required by applicable laws. Must pass ten-year criminal history background check as required by the Transportation Security Administration. Must pass recurring SIDA Training.
