Office and Operations Coordinator
Position-Type: Part Time
Hours: Approximately 20 hours a week, flexible scheduling
Location: Remote + 1x week office visit – Greater Morgantown, WV Area
Compensation: $25-30/hour, commensurate on experience

Position Overview:
The EdVenture Group is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Part-Time Office and Operations Coordinator to help ensure the smooth functioning of our internal operations and office administration. This role is crucial in supporting compliance, reporting, and coordination across our growing portfolio of education initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring experience in nonprofit operations, familiarity with grant- funded environments, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and operational support across the organization,
  • Manage day-to-day office operations including supplies, equipment, mail, and vendor coordination (for physical or virtual office environments),
  • Maintain organized systems for grant and contract documentation, including reporting deadlines, compliance checklists, and deliverables tracking,
  • Assist with grant management, contract filing, and procurement processes aligned with federal and state funding guidelines,
  • Support financial operations such as processing invoices, reconciling receipts, and assisting with grant-specific expense tracking,
  • Coordinate team calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas and notes,
  • Assist with onboarding logistics and internal communications,
  • Maintain digital filing systems, databases, and organizational templates,
  • Help implement and refine standard operating procedures to support efficiency and compliance,
  • Support logistics for events, trainings, and remote team meeting

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in office administration, operations, or a related field,
  • Familiarity with grant or contract management,
  • Strong organizational and project management skills,
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365,
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment
