Now Hiring Part-Time caregivers to assistance in the Harpers Ferry, WV area Hours vary based on client needs. Ideal candidates would be available between the hours of 7am-5pm.
Role Description
This is a part-time Caregiver (20-30 hours per week) with the ability to grow into a full-time role. As a Caregiver you would provide one-on-one care to our clients in their home. The responsibilities include providing non-medical in-home care such as assisting with daily living activities, ensuring client safety, offering companionship, and maintaining a clean and supportive environment. The caregiver will also assist with personal care tasks, light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders, tailored to meet clients’ individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care and assistance to clients based on their individual needs and care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
- Accompany and/or provide transportation for clients to appointments or social outings (as needed)
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license (required)
- Ability to travel to clients within a 35 mile radius from your location
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (required)
- CPR (required)
- 2 step TB test (required)
- Person must be compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Have the ability to work independently and follow instructions, and complete documentation in accordance with company, state and federal standards
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
