JOB TITLE: REGIONAL COORDINATOR (MORGANTOWN)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Libera Regional Coordinator (Morgantown) is responsible for coordinating and leading regional Libera groups, supporting participants in Libera’s mentoring program, building partnerships with local organizations, growing Libera’s network of volunteer mentors and increasing community engagement. Some other responsibilities will include recruiting, training, coordinating, and supporting volunteer mentors and supporting community and donor outreach efforts. Other tasks will include planning, coordinating, and attending events, participating in team meetings, and collaborating with Libera staff on regional projects. This position is key to growing our impact and helping more youth and young women in WV build brighter futures to achieve their dreams.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and lead Libera groups with youth and young women.
- Outreach and recruitment of volunteer mentors in the regional area.
- Support coordination and training of new volunteer mentors.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups.
- Support and engage with mentor program participants, including both mentees and mentors, on a regular basis.
- Plan regular community events to enhance engagement with mentees and mentors and to create opportunities for meaningful connection.
- Connect youth and young women with resources, services, and opportunities within the region.
- Work collaboratively with program staff and volunteers to meet program objectives and to provide wraparound support services to mentees through a team-based approach.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and effectively convey Libera’s mission, vision, and programs to build awareness and support.
- At times may be responsible for supporting, training, and coordinating interns.
- Track and report on regional program objectives and key results on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis or as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, other qualifications may be acceptable based on experience.
- 5-10 years’ experience working within a nonprofit/community organization or social work.
- Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills and experience using Google Workspace.
- Self-starter and creative thinker with a willingness to learn and take direction.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and project management skills.
- Excellent networking skills and the ability to build strong relationships with new people, businesses, and organizations.
- Comfortable working with youth and young women of all backgrounds and who may be experiencing crisis.
- Strong relational skills; able to engage with and support different personalities
- Works well independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to track, manage, and compile large sets of data in an organized and efficient way.
- Knowledge of local resources and services for youth and young women.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and driven high-performer looking to make a difference in the lives of young women and youth.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be willing to travel on a weekly basis within the surrounding regional area, and at times to other regions of the state.
- Required to provide transportation to program participants during working hours and occasionally after hours due to necessity or emergency. Transportation can be provided via a Libera vehicle when available.
- Required to work in the Libera office at least 3 days per week (unless performing work out in the community). Additional days in office may be required based on the needs of the program, program participants, and the organization.
- Some weekend or evening hours may be required based on timing of events or schedules / needs of program participants.
- Location: Morgantown, WV.
PAY & BENEFITS
- Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000 per year
