PADO AI Orchestration, Inc., a groundbreaking new venture backed by LG NOVA, is revolutionizing energy management for the modern data center.  Pado is led by a team of serial and tech entrepreneurs, with over 60+ years of experience in the energy and AI space.  We leverage proprietary AI and ML to empower data centers to optimize power consumption, enhance resilience, and significantly improve operational efficiency. As the demand for AI-driven compute power escalates, data centers face unprecedented energy challenges. PADO offers the intelligent orchestration needed to navigate this complex landscape.

PADO is backed by LG NOVA, the North American Innovation division of LG Electronics.  This position is based in Morgantown, WV and for immediate hire.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Account Executive – Data Centers to join our growing commercial team. This role will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within the rapidly expanding data center market. You will be a key contributor to PADO’s growth, working directly with data center developers, operators, hyperscalers, and co-location providers to showcase the transformative value of our AI-powered energy orchestration platform.

Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within the data center sector, from initial outreach to deal closure.
  • Target Account Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of target data center accounts, including their energy infrastructure, operational challenges, and strategic priorities.
  • Value-Based Selling: Articulate the unique value proposition of PADO’s AI Orchestration platform, demonstrating how it solves critical pain points for data centers related to energy consumption, grid services, DER optimization, and operational efficiency. Ability to define and apply the value of the PADO solution within an evolving data center space.
  • Technical Acumen: Develop a solid understanding of data center power infrastructure, distributed energy resources (DERs), grid services, and the challenges associated with managing increasing AI workloads.
  • Solution Presentation: Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of PADO’s platform to C-level executives, operations teams, and engineering leaders within target accounts.
  • Proposal Development & Negotiation: Prepare customized proposals, negotiate contract terms, and close complex sales agreements.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity, pipeline forecasts, and account information within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Market Insight: Gather and relay market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback to internal teams (Product, Marketing, Value Strategy) to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with pre-sales engineers, value consulting, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and successful implementation.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent PADO at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience in enterprise SaaS, energy management, smart grid, or critical infrastructure solutions, specifically targeting data centers.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and building a robust pipeline.
  • Deep understanding of the data center ecosystem, including knowledge of power systems, cooling, IT infrastructure, and operational challenges.
  • Familiarity with distributed energy resources (DERs), grid services, and energy optimization technologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience selling complex software solutions leveraging AI/ML or advanced analytics is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate the financial and operational benefits of PADO’s solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot).
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Salary:  Based on experience in the range of $125-150K + bonus.  PADO also offers company equity, 401K and healthcare benefits.  

Location: Remote (with as needed travel to offices in Morgantown, West Virginia and Los Angeles, California)

Travel: ~50% of time
