Employee will be assigned to the Division of Air Quality, Permitting Section. Under limited supervision of a licensed professional engineer, performs work at the advanced level, on a wide variety of engineering services necessary to the Permitting Section.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering.
OR
Substitution: Bachelor’s degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university with a major in Civil, Electrical, Electrical Design, Mechanical, Chemical or Mining Engineering Technology.
AND
Experience: Five (5) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in engineering.
OR
Substitution: Master’s degree in engineering may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
Special Requirement: A valid driver’s license is required.
Promotional Only: Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Technical Analyst series may substitute for the required training and experience.
