Employee will be assigned to the Division of Air Quality (DAQ), Compliance & Enforcement Section, in the Wheeling regional office.
Under general supervision, employee will learn to perform administrative work at the full-performance level for a wide variety of engineering services:
Employee will perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Notes:
The recommended candidate will be subject to a search of his or her Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) prior to being hired and annually thereafter or as needed.
Qualifying applicants will be required to complete an internet based profile assessment to compare the applicant’s thinking and reasoning skills, behavioral traits and the occupational interests against the traits determined to be important to the posted position.

Minimum Qualifications
Training:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering.
OR
Substitution:
Bachelor’s degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university with a major in Civil, Electrical, Electrical Design, Mechanical, Chemical or Mining Engineering Technology.
AND
Experience:
Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in engineering.
OR
Substitution:
Master’s degree in engineering may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
Special Requirement:
A valid driver’s license is required.
Promotional Only: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Technical Analyst series may substitute for the required training and experience.
