Why Libera
Libera, Inc. is a growing nonprofit dedicated to building brighter futures for West Virginia youth and young women so they are free to achieve their dreams. Over the past decade, we’ve grown significantly — including opening our community center and SOAR transitional living facility in Morgantown — and we’re evolving into a sustainable, high-impact behavioral health provider while staying deeply tied to our community roots.
We serve youth who may not otherwise access traditional mental health services: those involved in the juvenile justice system, experiencing housing instability, navigating child welfare, and more. Our work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and relentlessly focused on meeting young people where they are.
