Lauren O’Donnell

I enjoy using data analytics to transform complex information into clear, actionable insights that support better decision-making. My primary tools include Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and GitHub, and I especially enjoy creating visualizations that make large datasets easier to understand and communicate.

My background includes experience in operational leadership, KPI tracking, and business intelligence within manufacturing and higher education environments. I’ve worked with production and performance data to identify trends, improve workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening my skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

One of my recent projects focused on food access disparities across the United States and Appalachia, using geographic analysis and data visualization to better understand how location and community factors influence access to resources.

I’m passionate about work that combines analytics, operations, and community impact. Living in West Virginia has given me an appreciation for the challenges many communities face, and I enjoy using data to help tell meaningful stories that support informed decision-making and positive change.
