Annie Stroud, Broadband Program Director

Annie Stroud joined Generation WV as Broadband Director April 2023. She is an experienced project manager possessing a strong consulting background with extensive experience in local food systems, stakeholder management, environmental consulting and grant writing.

Annie comes to the organization from Buzz Food Service where she was the Project Manager for the planning, development, and construction of a state-of-the-art USDA inspected harvest and processing facility that opened March 2022 in Charleston WV. She led the Food Systems and Economic Development program at a West Virginia based environmental consulting firm and managed a wide variety of projects, teams and grant applications. Professional interests are focused on building strong local systems and facilitating infrastructure development to support small business and build strong local economies.

Annie graduated from Hiram College with a Bachelors of Arts in International Political Science with minors in French and Music. She grew up on a sheep farm in Greenbrier County, where her parents still live. In her free time she plays old-time fiddle. Annie lives in Southern West Virginia with her partner Ryan, two children, and three dogs.
