NewForce

  NewForce Cohort 10 Begins with New Data Analytics Curriculum

 NewForce kicked off the new year with a new cohort of trainees and a new Data Analytics curriculum! Cohort 10, the first cohort with our new data analytics curriculum, started on January 6. Eighteen new trainees are well on their way to a new skill set and career as they work with industry tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python. Our simulated workplace classroom environment has trainees moving quickly and getting accustomed to what they will experience in the industry. Fellowship

Applications for the class of 2025 are open now until March 16!

The GWV Fellowship will kick off May 29–31st with an exciting orientation session in Morgantown. Fellows will stay at the Waterfront Hotel, spending Thursday evening getting to know one another and learning about the program. On Friday, they’ll dive into their first professional development training with WVU Purpose, focusing on understanding professional strengths. The agenda also includes a tour of WVU’s athletic facilities, a visit to Ascend’s coworking space, and more.

Reflecting on last year’s session, 2024 Fellow Kennedy Snider shared, “I thoroughly enjoyed the WVU Purpose Clifton Strengths presentation, as it provided valuable insights that resonated both personally and professionally. While hearing about others’ successes is inspiring, I find immense value in practical tools and techniques for personal growth.”
