Barry Griffith is a Junior Instructor at NewForce, with a background in construction and a passion for data. He earned a degree in Computer Information Systems from Morehead State University and discovered his love for teaching while working as a tutor.
After graduating, Barry continued to develop his skills by completing the NewForce Full-Stack Developer program. He then joined the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission as a Programmer/Developer, where he worked for a couple years before transitioning to his current role as a Junior Instructor at NewForce. During this time Barry also was a member of the GWV Fellowship Class of 2023.
Barry’s unique combination of hands-on experience in teaching and expertise in programming make him a valuable asset to the NewForce team. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the tech industry. When he’s not teaching, Barry enjoys hiking and exploring the great outdoors.
