Jimmy Boggs joined GWV as the Broadband Community Coordinator in November 2023 to help communities get funding for better broadband access. With a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marshall University, he brings a wealth of experience in geographic information systems (GIS), graphic design, and database management. He likes using this combination of skills to create compelling visual narratives that highlight how demography interacts with geography. He also enjoys getting more proficient at programming, website design, drone piloting, and woodworking.
Having grown up and currently residing in rural West Virginia, Jimmy is motivated to leverage his skill set for the betterment of his home state. He is committed to driving economic prosperity in the region and encouraging fellow residents to engage in similar endeavors. His personal aspirations resonate strongly with GWV’s mission.
