Position Title: LifeBridge AmeriCorps Program Assistant
Position Overview:
The LifeBridge AmeriCorps Program Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation and successful implementation of LifeBridge AmeriCorps program. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the organization’s mission of fostering community development, supporting individuals in need, and promoting positive social change. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment for individuals passionate about service and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Support:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of LifeBridge AmeriCorps programs and events.
- Provide administrative support for program activities, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication.
- Member Engagement:
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for AmeriCorps members.
- Foster a positive and inclusive community environment for AmeriCorps members through regular communication, meetings, and events.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, participant data, and outcomes.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of program-related data for reporting purposes.
- Communication:
- Draft and edit program-related communications, including newsletters, reports, and promotional materials.
- Serve as a liaison between LifeBridge AmeriCorps, partner organizations, and the community.
- Training and Professional Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for AmeriCorps members.
- Support the implementation of ongoing learning initiatives to enhance members’ skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to the principles of national and community service.
